Probably the nicest house you’ll see at this price point… and certainly the highest spec house currently available in BR5…… just WOW!
Why should you buy me?
Meticulously worked on over a happy 5 year stay by the lovely owners, Agnius and Erika – no stone has been left unturned in the refurbishment of this gorgeous home.
When the couple first moved in 2018, the property required a huge amount of work, so no time was wasted in stripping everything back to brick and remodelling the house completely.
Everything you see in the house is virtually brand new. Agnius was able to put his commercial engineering background to good use, and Erika has an unquestionable eye for design and detail.
Over time, work has consisted of building a two storey side, and two storey rear extension (with all proper permissions & records), fully rewiring and replumbing, installing a new top of the range kitchen with island and high grade appliances, creating an under stair WC, laying double insulated underfloor heating with a floor mounted boiler, installing a heat recovery unit and extractor for the whole house (with the option of air con if required), fitting two brand new bathrooms, installing German triple glazed tilt & turn windows throughout, erecting new fences all the way round, fitting a brand new roof with extra insulation, importing numerous extra features and then plastering / redecorating the whole house in a complementary finish.
If you want a more detailed breakdown of the finishes, check the ‘Internal Spec’ list below this overview.
The open plan kitchen diner (with the island and family dining table) is the most frequented room in the house, with bifold glass sliding doors leading out to the West facing garden.
Kitchen connoisseurs will appreciate the quality of the finish by G&D cabinet makers, and American imported Quartz worktop (look up the company called CambriaUSA), integrated dishwasher, American fridge/freezer (which actually fits!), Franke sink with extendable tap, Fisher & Paykel hob, and the Siemens waist height oven as higher-level upgrades to the typical.
The downstairs WC saves visitors having to nosey around upstairs (good luck with that!) and my personal favourite feature is the bespoke Ash wood staircase.
The first floor consists of 3 king sized bedrooms (yes three… the master has a Super King), plus a single bedroom currently used as a dressing room / walk in wardrobe, and two bathrooms (one of which is en-suite).
The loft is all newly boarded, has even got excellent lighting (photo available on request) and certainly has potential to be extended into (subject to planning or ‘permitted development’).
The key permanent (non-negotiable) features that Agnius & Erika were looking for when they found this property were:
- The space for off street parking
- A West facing garden (for evening BBQ sun) and
- Rear access (for easy gardening) – all of which were available here.
- The driveway now has space for up to 4 cars, has been concrete reinforced (enough for a tank I’m told!) and boasts a top of the range electric gate with an electronic (parcel receiving!) post box.
You may have noticed that Agnius is also a motorbike buff, so having an integral garage to securely fit his pride and joy was also vital (… Suzuki GSXR 1000 not included!). To top it off, even the remote-control garage door is insulated…
You’ll struggle to find a house with a better ‘full-service history’, having certificates and records for all the key features.
Don’t forget to do the interactive virtual tour (if you haven’t already) to get a real feel for it before you book your appointment to view!
